UBE MACAPUNO CAKE

This is the Rose Cake design variant of the Ube Macapuno Cake. 


This is our best-seller. Ube-flavoured sponge cake with macapuno filling, covered by rich ube buttercream and ube cake crumbs.

**UBE - A variety of a true yam, which is known as "ube" or "ubi" in the Philippines. It has rough textured, dark coloured skin and a light purple coloured flesh. Purple yam is very gnarled looking in appearance and grows on a vine rather than underground. (Although it's appearance is more of a root crop - or to easier describe it to those who are not Filipinos - like a potato or carrot). 

Purple yam is used to make ube powder, which is a starchy substance added as an ingredient to sweet baked goods, cakes, ice cream, jams and curries. All varieties of the purple yam are used to make both sweet and savoury dishes as well as ground starchy substances used as flavourings and ingredients for other foods.

(PURE) UBE CAKE


This was created upon request and soon became a variant of the Ube Macapuno Cake. This is only pure ube goodness (sans macapuno), so the filling is all pure ube buttercream frosting and ube custard 

BUKO PANDAN CAKE


Buko pandan sponge cake filled with pandan buttercream frosting and buko strips - a fresh and light flavour. 

**Pandan (screwpine leaf) is a type of plant that grows in tropical areas of Asia. Pandan leaves have a sweet unique flavour that is commonly used in Southeast-Asian countries to enhance both desserts and savoury dishes. The leaves are long and bright green, and when pounded or ground, they lend a sweet taste and aroma to many desserts and some drinks. 

MANGO CAKE


A soft spongy cake filled and covered with mango frosting, rich mango coulis dripping on the sides and mango bits* on the frosting and top of cake.

*As mango is seasonal (using alphonso or honey mangos), the cake uses fresh ones during the summer but if the fresh fruits are out of season, we are using the frozen variety. 

BLACK FOREST CAKE


Moist chocolate cake with cherry filling and whipped cream then topped with more cherries and chocolate shavings. Your choice to add cherry liqueur or not. (Although no request for any liqueur so far).

CHOCOLATE M&Ms CAKE


Moist chocolate cake with custard filling and chocolate ganache then decorated with chocolate-covered wafer thins/biscuit sticks and M&Ms.

COOKIES & CREAM CAKE



A delicious chocolate cake with oreo cookie chunks covered in rich, creamy oreo frosting with dark chocolate ganache drizzling on the sides and embellished with more oreos on top.  


If you've noticed, there are two versions of oreos used in the cake. Due to the increase of orders and no mini oreos (probably because of the Christmas rush), I have to make do with the regular-sized oreos.

SUPER MOIST CHOCOLATE CAKE






A super moist chocolate cake with custard filling to complement the richness of the chocolate  covered in chocolate ganache and adorned on top with mocha buttercream swirls, chocolate stars and honeycomb bits.

OREO CHOCOLATE CAKE

This is a cross between the Moist Chocolate Cake and the Cookies and Cream (the oreo bit that is). So instead of the white creamy frosting, you get a chocolate frosting topped with crushed oreo bits enough to send you to Oreo heaven. 

CARROT CAKE





Moist carrot cake with crushed pineapples then filled and covered with rich cream cheese frosting. This cake has an extra special touch of walnuts and other mixed nuts with mini carrot decorations on top.

RED VELVET CAKE

A deep red vanilla cake with a hint of chocolate, contrasted by it's white cream cheese frosting and filling. AVAILABLE SOON.

STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE




BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE


The newest additions to Heaven in a Box, rich New York cheesecakes topped with home made strawberry & blueberry sauce and lined with fresh strawberries & blueberries and cream. The ultimate dream cakes whether you're a cheesecake lover or not.

Chiffon Cake with custard filling and boiled icing, topped with fruits

Same with the above cake but topped with flowers instead (this is my personal favourite as it reminds me of the traditional birthday cakes back home)

Mocha Chiffon Cake ala Goldilocks with mocha custard filling and rich mocha buttercream frosting, with rich chocolate drips

Dayap (lime) Chiffon Cake filled and covered with buttercream and bits of lime zest. Above is the Christmas-theme and funfetti version
